The United States Geological Survey sent topographer R. B. Marshall to map the battlefield in 1891. Topographer Marshall also mapped the location of the marble markers set by Captain Sweet the year before. The resulting USGS map was the first of its kind, and is still in print today. It shows the location of 244 markers on the field, a discrepancy of two markers from what Sweet said he had set. Dimensions: 24 inches x 18 inches
